A couple of months ago, as I was praying I had a picture in my mind of what the clouds look like right before it rains. The clouds get dark as they fill up with moisture. There is a certain smell in the air and you know it is about to rain. You have an expectation of the rain coming and in some cases you know that it is just a matter of minutes before the drops start falling. You can see the clouds and smell the fresh scent of coming rain.
My brothers and sisters, we pray for revival and for the Holy Spirit to be poured out here in Georgetown. We long for revival and for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I felt in my heart that the Lord would have me share this with you and encourage you to KEEP PRAYING, DON’T STOP CRYING OUT FOR REVIVAL!
Just as the ground gets dry and cracked and needs the rain from heaven to refresh it, in a similar way the spiritual ground of our town, our community and our churches, and even our own lives needs the spiritual refreshing rain from the Holy Spirit.
With the eyes of your heart, and with an expectation filled with hope, see the clouds getting darker, rain is coming, see it in your heart, see it by faith, and believe with me that the rain is coming. Praise Jesus!
My brothers and sisters let us have hearts filled with an expectation of Rain as we continue to pray for revival and for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Today let our hearts be filled with prayers that yearn and long for the rain of the Holy Spirit to be poured out. I hope that is what you yearn for, and I hope that you will not stop praying and not stop asking for the Spirit to be poured out upon our land, our families, and each of our lives. Pray and continue to Pray.
Isa 44:3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground;
I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.
