Being filled with the praises of a new and fresh song

Psa 98:1-3 Oh sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. The LORD has made known his salvation; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.

The fulfillment of this prophetic song of praise is our Mighty Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus is the right hand and the Holy arm of the LORD that brought salvation to us through His atonement. Him doing for us what we could not do for ourselves. Praise His Name. The Holy Spirit is on the earth making known in the hearts of men this redeeming and powerful love manifested in the suffering, death and resurrection of our Wonderful Savior. In every nation on earth the Holy Spirit is shining the light on the righteousness of the Lord Jesus which cannot be earned and is not deserved but is received by faith alone. It is no wonder that this Psalm tells us to sing a “new” song for He has done marvelous things. What comes to my mind when I think of a “new” song is a “fresh” song that is made fresh and new in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. You may have your favorite Christian Praise and Worship songs that you sing throughout the week. But isn’t it exciting when the Spirit blows and moves upon your heart and an “old” song becomes “new” and “fresh” and it fills your heart so much that you think you are going to burst? May our hearts rejoice with a new and fresh heartfelt song of praise and adoration to the Lord Jesus for all that He has done. He has done so much. Praise His Name. May our hearts rejoice with a new and fresh heartfelt song of praise and adoration that this salvation was made know to us. Where would we any of us be if the Holy Spirit had not revealed this salvation to us? May our hearts rejoice with a new and fresh heartfelt song of praise and adoration that we are in right standing with God not because of our works, but because of Jesus’ righteousness that is imputed to us when we by faith believe in Him. Praise His Name! Praise His Name! Praise His Name! Brothers and sisters, the Holy Spirit will make fresh a new song of praise everyday if we will allow Him to. May our hearts and mouths be filled with the praises of a new and fresh song today as we rejoice in all that He has done and continues to do in our lives.

Isa 42:10-12  Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that fills it, the coastlands and their inhabitants. Let the desert and its cities lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar inhabits; let the habitants of Sela sing for joy, let them shout from the top of the mountains. Let them give glory to the LORD, and declare his praise in the coastlands.
