Membership

What is membership? Simply put, it is a commitment to
a group of people to provide for their mutual benefit; it is a belonging
to and the identification with a group of people who hold common values
and ideals. I Corinthians 12 speaks of the church as "Christ's
Body", where each member is acknowledged and does his/her part to
benefit the whole. Ephesians, chapter one, speaks of the church as the
fullness of Christ that fills all things. Membership allows us to
identify with you and you with us.
When you acknowledge yourself as a member of this
family, you are saying: "I am committed to Christ and His on-going
work of sanctification, and I am committed to this group of believers.
This act of membership tells us that you desire to be committed,
faithful, responsible, and reliable, in serving Christ through this
expression of the Body of Christ.
